This week, we reviewed the results of the Battle of London—uh, I mean the London Marathon. We got to talk about a lot of different parts of the race and their implications.
We also happened to record on the day that the CAS ruling was released. We talked extensively about this largely due to the amount of bad information we had seen reported about the case from major non-running news outlets.
While we did profess some opinions about the ruling, the major goal we had was to establish what the basic facts of the situation are so that both we and our listeners could correct bad information when it was presented in the future. We tried to approach the situation respectfully and broadly, without further contributing to the invasions of privacy that some athletes have had to endure for the better part of a decade. We certainly hope that’s what we did. If we got something wrong, please let us know.
